Spring Break, thus far, has been overflowing with children. Andrew has had friends over...neighborhood kids in and out...my nieces spent a few days...for the last 24 hours I had 6 kids here at once.
I love my kids, I love other kids, I love all kids...they are a precious blessing. But! In all honesty, I started to get a migraine earlier, and was about to pull my hair out! I needed a bit of a break...and a coffee.
My plan was to send all the "extra" children, home...away...somewhere (the police station?). So, I did manage to get the others home, and Andrew ended up going to a friends...then my other two wanted to spend the night with grandparents...hmmm.
So yes, it's true, I am actually kid-less tonight.
No kids. are here. In my home. None.
Even Kiki, our dog, is gone...seriously...she left with Joseph and Izzy. LOL
So, I am home alone, with my man. What's a girl to do?
You guessed it...blog, of course.
Before I got rid of my migraine I was just going to go to bed, so this is actually exciting compared to those plans.
So, I just had to share the fact, that on Spring Break, even if just for a night, I have no children to tend to...none to feed, bathe, read a story to, to get sticky stuff out of hair, no countless reminders to wash their hands and brush their teeth, no scolding to quit fighting, to turn off the tv, or to quit playing and go to sleep...no kid to hug and kiss goodnight...hmmm...i'm missing my babies.
I guess I will sign off now, because I am going to call and make sure they don't want me to come get them, or at least do kisses and hugs on the phone...
