Interesting...sorta...

So the truth is, I wish I was posting pictures from Joseph and Isabel's birthday parties...but I'm not :-( (yet!)

So this is the best I've got:

Interesting conversations with my kids from this past week...
Andrew wants to know if he can start doing odd jobs around the house for his Dad and I and if he can get paid $100 a week for it. I said yes to the first part and no the the second part. He swears his friend gets paid that, and while I don't believe him, I'm gonna have to have a talk with his parents just to be sure.

Then, Joseph has been sleeping in jeans with his air pistol attached to one of the belt loops for the past few nights. Tonight I asked him to please take it off, but he said he just couldn't. When I asked him why, on Earth, would he want to sleep like that...He told me a robber could break in at any moment and he would be ready for them. I'll sleep soundly tonight knowing my boo is ready and willing to protect us.

A couple days ago, I told Isabel to lay down and go to sleep. She started pouting and when I asked her what was wrong, she told me it was because of her pillow. I asked her what was wrong with her pillow and she said that she didn't like it. "I wanted you to get me that purple farm-house pillow!!!". Now, I have NO clue what this child is referring to...do any of you? If so, fill me in, because I would like to find that pillow for her!

So, hey I know my kids aren't as interesting to you as they are to me...but I have limited it to one conversation for each child :-) Gotta give me props for that!


Now, I need to know...who else is sooooo excited about Soccer and Baseball season starting??!!! WhoooHoooo!
